Courses

Lessons are conducted in English for better understanding but technique is taught the traditional way of writing Chinese calligraphy.

Students are encouraged to pronounce the basic strokes and terms in Mandarin.

Beginners Lesson:
A 20-lesson course of one lesson x 1.5 hrs per week. Lessons on the writing and understanding of the basic brush strokes in the Regular script (kai shu) At the end of the course, students are able to write one's Chinese name in calligraphy as well as some simple Chinese characters.

Regular Lesson:
10-lesson session x 1.5 hrs per session per week.

Other style of Chinese calligraphy to learn are Official script (li shu) and Cursive script (xing shu).

One-lesson Workshop:
2.0 hrs session on writing of individual's choice
Class sessions:
Fridays    : 10.00 am to 11.30 am;   11.30 am to 1.00 am
Saturdays: 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm;        4.30 pm to 6.00 pm
